▪ Format and submission
The Symposium is structured in different sessions - keynote speeches, round tables and flash sessions. For the flash sessions an open call for presenters is opened. The flash session encompasses a 5-6 minutes presentation (max. 3 slides) to the full audience and is linked with a poster to be discussed in the “World Café” sessions and a full paper to be published in the symposium proceedings.
In a World-Café the posters are displayed, and the presenters can discuss with participants in split discussion stations.
There are several steps to be fulfilled - For the deadlines see important dates.
Before the symposium
1. Submit an Abstract with max. 300 words until XX.XX.2020. The abstracts will be posted online
2. Submit a Full Text with max 3000 words until XX.XX.2020. This text will be published in the Book of Proceedings (see below).
The abstract and the full text must be submitted within the deadlines directly to the email: firstname.lastname@example.org
During the symposium:
3. Provide to the registration desk the printed poster
4. The speakers have up to 6 minutes to introduce their topic to the full audience
5. Discuss with participants in the World-Café

The full texts (3000 words), when the deadline is met (30.03.2020) will be edited for the symposium proceedings to be published by the Lusófona University Press/Ceied in the series Culture & Territory [linkto http://www.ceied.ulusofona.pt/en/series-culture-and-territory].
Selection of proposals by the Scientific Committee, limited to number of vacancies for participants (40 pax).
Proposals will be reviewed, and modifications may be suggested. Full text will only be accepted for publication in the proceedings after proof of registration payment by the author or at least one of the authors.
The abstract, full text and oral presentation must be submitted in English.
The abstract and the full text must be submitted within the deadlines directly to the email: email@example.com.
▪ PARTICIPATION FEES
60 euros (Standard, VAT included)
30 euros reduced fee for students (with valid card, VAT included)
* Lunch is not included
The registration fee includes admission to all conference presentations, an exemplar of the Book of Proceedings, a certificate of attendance and coffee breaks.
Participation in an event dinner (21/04/2020) is optional at extra cost.
